We, Scored Platform Ltd, reserve the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Any changes to these Terms of Service will take effect immediately from the date of publication.
These Terms of Service are effective as of 22 June 2026.

Intellectual property
The intellectual property in the materials contained in this website are owned by or licensed to Scored Platform Ltd and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. We grant our users permission to download one copy of the materials for personal, non-commercial transitory use.
This constitutes the grant of a licence, not a transfer of title. This licence shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions or the Terms of Service, and may be terminated by Scored Platform Ltd at any time.
User-generated content
You retain your intellectual property ownership rights over content you submit to us for publication on our website. We will never claim ownership of your content, but we do require a licence from you in order to use it.
When you use our website or its associated services to post, upload, share, or otherwise transmit content covered by intellectual property rights, you grant to us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly display, translate, or otherwise create derivative works of your content in a manner that is consistent with your privacy preferences and our Privacy Policy.
The licence you grant us can be terminated at any time by deleting your content or account. However, to the extent that we (or our partners) have used your content in connection with commercial or sponsored content, the licence will continue until the relevant commercial or post has been discontinued by us.
You give us permission to use your username and other identifying information associated with your account in a manner that is consistent with your privacy preferences and our Privacy Policy.
Fees & payment
What you pay us. Your use of paid features is subject to the fees set out at checkout or on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Current fee types include: per-tournament fees by court-count tier — Small (1–4 courts) US$50, Medium (5–9 courts) US$100, Large (10+ courts) US$150; recurring subscriptions, including a league/season subscription and an annual “unlimited tournaments per entity” plan (approximately US$500 per year); and add-on modules and managed services at the prices shown when you add them.
Currency. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, all fees are stated and charged in US dollars (USD). You are responsible for any bank, card, or currency-conversion charges your provider applies.
Taxes. All fees are exclusive of VAT, GST, sales tax, and any other applicable taxes or duties, unless expressly stated to be inclusive. Where we are required to collect such taxes, they will be added to your invoice and payable by you.
Auto-renewal. Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period for a further period of the same length, at the then-current price, charged to your payment method on file, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Where required by law, we will notify you in advance of a renewal or price change.
Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of fees already paid, except as set out in the Refunds section or as required by law.
Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend or downgrade paid features until payment is received.
Refunds
Fees paid to Scored for the Service (per-tournament fees, subscriptions, add-ons, and managed services) are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and unused features, except where stated below or required by applicable law.
Statutory rights (EU/UK consumers). Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have as a consumer, including any cancellation/withdrawal right under EU or UK consumer law. Where you have a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services, you acknowledge that by starting to use a paid feature during the withdrawal period at your request, you may lose that right to the extent the service has been fully performed, as permitted by law.
Discretionary refunds. We may, at our discretion, issue a refund or credit (for example, for a confirmed service failure on our side). Any such refund creates no obligation to provide further refunds.
This section covers only fees you pay to Scored. Refunds of entry, team, or registration fees that Participants pay to Organizers are governed by the Payment Facilitation section.
Payment facilitation (Stripe Connect)
In this section, “Organizer” means a user who creates or administers a tournament, league, or season, and “Participant” means a team, player, or other person who pays an entry, team, or registration fee to an Organizer through the Service.
Facilitator only. The Service lets Organizers collect entry, team, and registration fees from Participants, processed through Stripe Connect using a Stripe connected account belonging to the Organizer. Scored acts only as a technology facilitator and is not a party to the underlying transaction between the Organizer and the Participant.
Organizer is the merchant of record. For all such fees, the Organizer is the merchant of record and is solely responsible for the sale, delivery of the event, pricing accuracy, consumer-law compliance, tax handling, and disputes with Participants.
Fund flow; no holding by Scored. Funds flow through Stripe’s infrastructure and the Organizer’s connected account. Scored does not receive, hold, control, or take custody of these funds and operates no Scored-controlled balance into which they are paid. Settlement and payout timing are determined by Stripe and the Organizer’s Stripe configuration.
Platform fee. For facilitating these payments, Scored charges a platform fee of approximately 5% of each transaction, inclusive of Stripe’s processing fees, deducted via Stripe at the time of the transaction. The exact fee is shown to the Organizer before activation and may be updated on notice.
Stripe terms apply. Organizers’ use of Stripe Connect is also governed by Stripe’s own agreements (the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement). Stripe — not Scored — provides the payment-processing service.
Organizer KYC. Before collecting payments, an Organizer must complete Stripe’s identity verification/KYC onboarding with accurate information. Scored may suspend payment collection if onboarding is incomplete, verification fails, or Stripe restricts the account.
Refunds and chargebacks to Participants. The Organizer is solely responsible for refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, and disputes relating to entry, team, and registration fees, including associated fees and reversals. Where a chargeback, reversal, or refund affects amounts already settled, the Organizer remains liable for the full amount, and Scored may recover any resulting shortfall (including platform fees already deducted) from the Organizer.
No financial services by Scored. Scored is not a bank, payment institution, money transmitter, or e-money issuer and provides no payment, escrow, or money-handling services; all such services are provided by Stripe.
Eligibility & minors
Account eligibility. To create or hold an account, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to enter into a binding contract. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Users under the age of majority. A person who is under 18 (or under the local age of majority) may use the Service only with the involvement and verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on the minor’s behalf and agrees to be responsible for the minor’s use of the Service. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe this requirement is not met.
Minors as Participants. Where minors take part in tournaments, leagues, or events organised through the Service, the Organizer is responsible for obtaining any required parental/guardian consents, for safeguarding and child-protection obligations, for any age-related data-protection requirements (including consent for processing children’s personal data under the GDPR/UK GDPR), and for compliance with all laws applicable to minors’ participation.
Liability
Our website and the materials on our website are provided on an ‘as is’ basis. To the extent permitted by law, Scored Platform Ltd makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property, or other violation of rights.
In no event shall Scored Platform Ltd or its suppliers be liable for any consequential loss suffered or incurred by you or any third party arising from the use or inability to use this website or the materials on this website, even if Scored Platform Ltd or an authorised representative has been notified, orally or in writing, of the possibility of such damage.
In the context of this agreement, “consequential loss” includes any consequential loss, indirect loss, real or anticipated loss of profit, loss of benefit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, loss of savings, loss of reputation, loss of use and/or loss or corruption of data, whether under statute, contract, equity, tort (including negligence), indemnity or otherwise.
Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Right to terminate
We may suspend or terminate your right to use our website and terminate these Terms of Service immediately upon written notice to you for any breach of these Terms of Service.
Severance
Any term of these Terms of Service which is wholly or partially void or unenforceable is severed to the extent that it is void or unenforceable. The validity of the remainder of these Terms of Service is not affected.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
